Gamers are spoiled these days. No one bought a PS1 version of a game expecting to get a free upgrade to the PS2 version. You can't expect Sony to sell themselves short. Either buy the double pack or wait until you get a PS5.

Yes. Also the "day one" games you tout so much hasn't even released. Stop rating something based on the future. Business wise, Sony sells way more software than MS. Makes sense for them to wait for game sales to saturate before putting them on a subscription. If you have a movie people are willing to pay theater prices for, why would you put it straight to Netflix?
